We would be grateful if you could complete this survey by Monday, March 3rd.

Dear JETZON early-career members,

Temporary early-career positions are often associated with high expectations of productivity and performance that may (or may not) influence how we design or choose research projects.

As two early career researchers in aquatic sciences, Marie-Pier Hébert and Richard LaBrie are conducting a brief survey to better understand how work conditions at the early-career stage may influence the choice of scientific approaches and methods used among early-career aquatic scientists. The study has been reviewed by McGill University Research Ethics Board for compliance with ethical standards, and the survey will remain anonymous.

If you are an early-career researcher (here defined as within 10 years of your PhD defense), we would like to benefit from your experience through this survey. This link will take you to a consent form that will provide you with additional information on the purpose, procedure, and confidentiality of the study. Please click on the link at the end of the consent form to start the survey. The survey should not take more than 15 minutes to complete.

Please feel free to contact any of us if you have questions.
Thank you for your time and participation!

Best regards,

Richard LaBrie, PhD
