I am collaborating with two early career colleagues (Corday Selden and Laura Ganley) to put together a session for next year’s Aquatic Sciences Meeting (https://www.aslo.org/charlotte-2025/). The session will focus on the role of ecology, evolution, and biological adaptation as drivers of Earth’s climate (see image).
The twilight/deep ocean is a critical environment in regulating the Earth’s climate, and I think that many of you will be interested in this session. If you are planning to attend the next ASM in Charlotte, USA, and you are working on biogeochemical feedbacks on climate, we would be delighted to welcome you to our special session.
Best,
Richard LaBrie
