I have been analysing the elemental composition of jellyfish species from the Cameroon area. My aim is to produce a paper on the potential contribution of jellyfish to the carbon sink, using the available C, H, N, S data for our jellyfish species coupled to their abundance in the region.

I am seeking a collaboration for the molecular characterization of our jellyfish species, partly to support morphological analysis. Jellyfish samples from which DNA can be extracted are available, but I have limited facilities in Cameroon and no funding to pay for analysis elsewhere.

If you have the capabilities for this sort of analysis and may be interested in a collaboration on this project, please get in touch.
