One of the JETZON ECOP co-leads, Adamu Salisu, is looking for partners to develop a new project.

It would aim to quantify the flux of particulate and dissolved organic carbon from coastal regions, across the shelf and into the mesopelagic where it may fuel respiration.

He is particularly interested in the tropical west African system (concept note here) but other similar regions or complementary suggestions are welcome.

One possibility would be to put together a proposal for the Belmont Forum Ocean 2 CRA call - which has a deadline to register of 30 April.
