Do you have ideas for a JETZON related session at the Rio UN Ocean Decade conference in April 2027

Dear JETZON community

you are hopefully all aware of the UN Ocean Decade conference due to take place in Rio next year (7-9 April), with special side events taking place on 5-6 April.

 

DOSI have successfully led a joint (Deep Ocean Collective) bid for a side event under the “Ocean Life (Biodiversity) / Deep Ocean” theme:

JETZON have an opportunity to apply to run an activity at that event.

 

Within the topics they envisage two 45-minute sessions, or three 30-minute sessions, and filled with any activity (lectures, panel discussions, workshops, etc.) but they are open to suggestions on activities that may take different formats

 

If you are interested in proposing an activity related to JETZON please let me know. They are also encouraging joint applications with other Ocean Decade programmes.

 

 

The deadline for applications is 8 November.
